About Who Was Alive?
Who Was Alive? is a free daily game about the Bible timeline. Each day names one moment from the Bible story, the same for every player, such as the Exodus, David becoming king or Paul arriving in Rome, with its year on the traditional dates. Below it are eight Bible people. Three or four of them were alive at that moment: tap the ones you think they are, then check. You get two tries, and after the first you learn how many of the eight you have right, but not which.
When you finish, each person's life appears as a bar on a small timeline with the moment marked, linking to their page on the Bible timeline. Dates follow the traditional Ussher chronology from Theographic Bible Metadata. Where the Bible gives no birth and death years, the bar is the span of the dated verses that name the person, so a name only counts as alive when the moment falls inside that span, and as not alive only when the moment is at least a century away. Share your score without giving the answers away. Practice rounds use another day's board and don't count toward your streak. See all the Bible Brain Games.
